This week on Tuesday and Wednesday freshmen will participate in ACT Aspire testing. (Please note that there is NOT SCHOOL on Monday.) Students who are in class on these days will use this time to review Surface Area and Volume concepts to make sure that we are ready to finish our volume unit strong.Volume of Prisms, Pyramids, Cylinders, Cones and Spheres
After we finish the ACT Aspire testing, we will continue our study of unit 11 where we investigate the volume of solids, including prisms, pyramids, cylinders, cones, and spheres. We have a lot of formulas in this unit, so students may earn the privilege to use a formula sheet on our unit summative assessment by completing our summative review before we take the summative.
