Wrapping Up Unit 7: Similarity

We will begin the week by wrapping up our unit on similarity.  We will play a "Castle Attack" review
game during class on Monday and complete our summative assessment during class on Tuesday.  Please reach out if you have questions!

During class on Thursday, we broke up into groups and spent a few minutes writing some Similarity Haikus to quickly summarize some of the topics we have been studying.  Check out the haikus here.


Unit 8: Trigonometry

Once we have wrapped up our similarity unit, we will move ahead to our eighth unit on trigonometry.  This is a really important unit to master, as students will see it at some point in just about every math class at North after this one.  During class on Wednesday, we will talk about the Pythagorean Theorem and during class on Thursday, we will talk about the patterns that exist in special right triangles (isosceles right triangles and 30-60-90 triangles).
