Surface Area and VolumeThis week in Honors Geometry we will continue our brief study of three-dimensional objects. We will talk about how to find the surface area of pyramids and cones. We will also take a short formative assessment on surface area early in the week.
After our brief study of surface area, we will move on to volume. We will discuss how to find the volume of prisms, cylinders, pyramids, cones, and spheres.
On Wednesday, students will also submit their Unit 9 (circles) and Unit 10 (area) chapters for their "Book Creator" assignment. This is a check-in point to make sure that students are on track to complete their summative assessment by the end of May.
