This week we will be finishing up our unit on area. We will start the week by talking about the area of circles, sectors and segments. We will also investigate the relationship between area and perimeter of similar figures.
We will finish up the week by reviewing for our summative assessment and completing our "Dream Home" projects. The project is a summative assessment, so students MUST COMPLETE THE PROJECT IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A GRADE FOR THE COURSE!!!
Students will complete both of these items before leaving for Spring Break. It is my hope that this will allow students to enjoy a Geometry-Free break. If you are planning on leaving early for break, PLEASE make arrangements to complete your project and summative BEFORE you leave for break. You will do much better on the assessment!
